LIBERTY is committed to protecting your privacy in accordance with the applicable regulations.

Your personal data may be used for the following primary purposes: i) provide you with a better navigation experience, and ii) collect metrics about the use of our website.

Additionally, LIBERTY may use your personal data for the following secondary purposes: i) provide you with marketing and promotional information, and ii) contact you about launches, events and insurance products. We may collect the following personal data: i) full name; ii) image, and iii) company that you represent.

With whom do we share your personal data and for what purposes?

LIBERTY may transfer your personal data with our parent company and/or all or some of our affiliated companies, subsidiaries, licensees, and/or belonging to the same economic group in Mexico or abroad provided that they operate under the same processes and internal policies. Likewise, LIBERTY may share your Personal Data with the authorities in Mexico or abroad, provided that this is established by judicial or administrative order or that a law so determines. LIBERTY does not require your consent for these transfers.

Your Personal Data may be shared with third parties interested providing financing, acquiring the shares or assets of LIBERTY or its shareholders or affiliates in Mexico or around the world, or merging with LIBERTY. With you consent to this privacy notice, you consent the transfer mentioned in this paragraph. 

How can you access, rectification or cancel your personal data, or oppose its use?

You have the right to know what personal data we have about you, what we use it for and the conditions of use we give to it (Access). Likewise, it is your right to request the correction of your personal information if it is outdated, inaccurate or incomplete (Rectification); that we remove it from our records or databases (Cancellation); as well as to oppose the use of your personal data for specific purposes (Opposition). These rights are known as ARCO rights.

To exercise any of the ARCO rights, you must submit a request addressed to our Data Protection Department, to the following email address: contactomx@libertymutual.com

With your application, you must provide the following: (i) full name; (ii) a copy of your official identification (passport, voter registration card or driver's license); (iii) a clear and precise description of the personal data you wish to access, rectify, cancel or oppose, and (iv) any other element that facilitates the location of your data.

LIBERTY's response will indicate whether the request for access, rectification, cancellation or opposition is appropriate and, if so, LIBERTY will make the determination within 15 business days from the date on which it communicates the response to the holder of the Personal Data or his representative, as the case may be. The deadlines may be extended under the terms set out in the Law. LIBERTY will provide electronic copies of your Personal Data if you exercise your right of access.

How can you revoke your consent to the use of your personal data?

You can withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data. Please note, however, that we will not always be able to comply with your request or terminate use immediately, as we may be required by law to continue processing your personal data. You should also consider that, for certain purposes, revocation of your consent will mean that we can no longer provide you with the service you requested, or that your relationship with us is terminated.

How can you limit the use or disclosure of your personal information?

You will be entitled to limit the use or disclosure of your personal data for the purposes that are not necessary for our legal relationship. In that sense, if you no longer require to receive promotional or marketing information, please send us an email  addressed to the Privacy Department to the e-mail account contactomx@libertymutual.com.
